OUR NEXT DUST KICKING ADVENTURE BEGINS 9 AUGUST 2024
Destination Outback is the major fundraising activity for the Rotary Club of Dubbo South, and this is our 17th event.
Destination Outback has gained a respected reputation throughout the outback as an event that raises much-needed funds to support needy individuals and community groups.
The real experience comes from spending time with people from different walks of life in an environment that seems to level everyone involved regardless of where you choose to live, and what makes up your normal day today.
Vacuum out those swags, pump up those tires and bring your biggest grins, we can't wait to host you in 2024!
Our 2024 trip will take us via some absolutely spectacular scenery, and a first for Destination Outback as we spend a bit of the trip by the ocean!
This trip we thank our major sponsor, Stara Real Estate Capital & Advisory. Stara is an independent consulting and advisory firm that focuses on originating investment opportunities and providing capital solutions and strategic advice on corporate and direct property transactions and structures.

Event History
The first Destination Outback event was held in 1990. Howard Laughton suggested the idea to Peter Scott and after doing some work on it they presented it to John Robertson, President of the Rotary Club of Dubbo South at the time, who enthusiastically backed the idea. Since then there has been many trips with hundreds of thousands of dollars raised for small communities and charities in need.
